I lived it. I lived in Eden Isles for Katrina. FEMA is arse. We evacuated . I can only imagine those poor people that had no idea that Helena would be so bad, and stayed.

If you are being genuine, and you actually want to know how the response has gone and who got involved when I'd recommend that you visit the Xwitter feed of @TheIntelFrog. He has done an amazing job at tracking resources, particularly the large number of FEMA task force teams that have been deployed to the area. He has all of that in one thread with over 100 posts now. Within his feed he has updates of the USNG and Coast Guard response. He hasn't gotten all of it, but he has a lot of updates pulled from various social media and official sources.

I’ve searched and searched. Can’t find one picture of a “ FEMA” roadblock. Or video. Or them seizing or attempting to seize food.
I do see a bunch of “ rumor “ repeaters on X. All of bunch of goofy people. Does having a hanging microphone and repeating something that someone else said make you a legit source of info.
Until people can raise their comprehension and stop believing everything on X. I give those people as much cred as I give Gary Chambers. Zero.

After a storm that washed out 4 of 5 thoroughfares into the region, I can't find images of roadblocks at all.
Do you think that is because roadblocks have not been issued, or because the coverage is lacking?

No, lying implies someone knows what they're saying is false. Musk is getting information just like everybody else and he probably believes it. A lot of it will be false, that's just the nature of these things.

I did get stopped responding to Katrina with a pickup truck load of generators, ac, gas cans, chain saw etc twice going to St Charles Parish at 200. am the morning following the storm. First stop was at the raceland bridge on highway 90. Second stop was at the Des Allamands bridge. In each case a polite conversation and a specific destination allowed me to go on. They were rightly trying to keep the baddies out.
