You need to read up on the actual relationship between the Seminole Nation (the actual tribal leadership, not the fanbase) and the University.
Same with the Ute Tribe and the University of Utah, the Illiniwak tribe with the University of Illinois and the Sioux tribe with the the University of South Dakota.
