Mate if you put out an op-ed tomorrow on here about how this is actually good in the long run because the GOP is finally fighting back, I will gladly supply your first upvote and might even chime in. But don't come on here on Friday with some half sober tome about how this takedown on the part of Gianforte was ultimately Pyrrhic.

I feel the opposite, the fox news report doesn't read as bad as the audio sounds. Either way, it goes without saying that body slamming someone for putting a mic in your face is the wrong fricking answer.
It feels crazy that I have to say that, but I am sure there are a lot of people who think that is acceptable. Kick that fricker out of the room and move on with the day. It isn't that hard.

I'm not defending the attack, but man, it's obvious so many of the people that have been reporting on this race in the past few weeks want him to lose.
I don't think any of them have asked the democrat a single tough, hostile question.

Alicia Acuna is a highly respected reporter. Her reporting speaks for itself. So that's not going to help him.
So now we find out if the American people (and more specifically the Montana voters) are more angry with the hysterical, effete, lying Chattering Class or douch- canoe Republican politicians. In a normal year I'd say he'd be a goner, but seeing how Progressives have been engaging in violent Agitprop for a year now, I'd say the voters may want to reward him for it. And that, folks, is our new America.

Honestly, with Acuna's statement I think he's a goner even if he wins-- that's criminal assault not an aggressive shove a dude whines about. I would be really, really surprised if he isn't charged even with the Sheriff being a donor.
