Where are you getting your info? Yes, he worked at a VA hospital, but where are you seeing he served? Or saw combat, of any nature?

Just playing the devils advocate but I'd he wanted suicide by cops, he would have skipped the body armor right?
I agree that he was playing with fire but don't think he wanted to commit suicide. I would even go as afar as saying he wanted to start a scene and be viewed as a hero but don't think he planned on dying.

This is the most important FACT in assessing the blame for the result.
These agents have so much to mentally digest while physically dealing with all sorts of attacks from numerous person and multiple directions - and they have to process it all within tenths of seconds rather than 3 days of poring over slow-motion videos from a dozen viewpoints.
These agents are totally justified in their actions.
Whether or not a better outcome could have been obtained with different decisions along that train of instantaneous observations is a good subject for armchair sleuths to leisurely discuss over their tea and crumpets in a lazy morning.
Nothing they come up with is relevant to the life/death split second decisions forced on people who have been under constant attack for weeks, dealing with one maniac after another, getting minimal sleep, being spit upon and having their families threatened = ALL BECAUSE OF CORRUPTION by the MN government and their propaganda arms in the media, driven by completely unhinged DEMOCRAT ideology yearning for complete overthrow of our REPUBLIC in favor of a SOCIALIST DICTATORSHIP.
Yes - I do believe that this guy was perhaps one of the better 'protesters' - he may have even had generous thoughts of protecting a companion. We will never know his intent - and that is all his own fault.
I can feel sorry for his death - there are others that I wish could have taken his place in the morgue. But I feel more sorry for the CBP who have to live with the fact they MAY have made a life/death decision based on faulty information. It is not their fault - but I am sure they do not enjoy the result.
WHAT is the SOLUTION??
SIMPLE - have Minnesota act like a responsible state - have competent leadership - root out the corruption that is fueling all this bullshite.
If ANY of /\ that /\ had been done, none of this would have happened, the CBP would be back at their desk jobs looking forward to a weekend with their kids. The recently deceased would be out enjoying his life. The entire nation would be better off by utilizing the $$$ not wasted on FRAUD to either reduce the national debt or put to a USEFUL purpose.
DEMOCRATs have chosen the path they are following and THEY are causing the turmoil that results from THEIR corrupt agenda.
