No they didn't.

The vote for confirmation will happen soon.

They wait 30 hours and then have the final vote again. They should have the votes unless someone changes their minds.

Looks like it's time for recess.

It's not over. They will now have 30 hours of debate. Once that is over, they will have a confirmation vote. 51 is only needed and should happen tomorrow evening.

I wonder how many Baisley-Fords will crawl out of the woodwork over the next 30 hours?

Collins and Murkowski arguing at the top of the screen

For people who try to argue that these namby pamby Senators are just "doing what their constituents want" - I get it possibly for Collins who has essentially a Democrat colleague from her state, but how how does that work for people like Murkowski and McConnell who both sit opposite really strong Republicans from their own state who are solidly in the 'yes' column for all these appointees?

Cocaine Mitch withheld money from Cruz in the TX senate race and was willing to allow the democrats to gain the seat b/c he was butthurt. He's a POS and can't stroke out soon enough. Shows you he cares for himself and no one else.

Its now 50-49. At this point Vance moves it forward, if needed. Debate is now over. Time for the final vote

Who's the Rep. Senator who didn't vote? Murkowski and Collins voted no. Graham and Turtle Mitch yes. Whos the extra vote?

They should give Cruz all 15 hours for the R side. Tell Chuck they can do that all the way down the line, if he wants. Have Rand there to spell him if he gets tired and maybe Cotton and Lee as backups.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Senate advanced the nomination of Pete Hegseth as President Donald Trump’s defense secretary Thursday on a largely party-line vote, despite grave objections from Democrats and stirring unease among Republicans over his behavior and qualifications to lead the U.S. military.
