These idiots have never heard of the Bill of Rights. There is the fifth amendment and no refusing to testify is not to be construed as admission of guilt.

They have accused him of actions that constitute treason and sedition (i.e., crimes).
Pretty sure he has 5th Amendment protections (and, yes, I know this is not a judicial proceeding; however, you know the AG or SDNY USA would love to use his testimony against him in their show trials)

The easy prediction is that Dems will parse this event into "If he's not guilty, why doesn't he testify. Therefore, he's guilty".

I’m sure you have watched his Congress holds proceedings, they could ask him a question, not let him answer, filibuster, and then hold him in contempt for not answering.
No one in their right mind should volunteer to testify in Congress.
