Al Gore was a puppet. He’s a nepotism politician. Where did Al get the idea?

The smart money is on Bill Gates.

There was a guy at Stanford named Ehrlich, he had a lab and said things like the oceans will be dead within a decade.

He’s the one that wrote the book “Population Bomb”. (Over population plus drought would make us starve to death)

DC gave him huge grants to “study” further and more deeply.

It created a cottage industry.

When data started pouring in that the earth was cooling, so they needed a new name to replace "global warming".

How Did the Climate Change

It started as Global Warming. When that was proven wrong they called it climate change so they can never be wrong.

Right. They had to be able to point to a massive snow storm on the Gulf Coast as being evidence of “it.”

They saw an opportunity to get massive kickbacks on bs initiatives to halt climate change. That's really all there is to it.

I read the Great Gatsby in high school and a character was talking about climate change in that book. It was written in 1918. So it’s been around a while.

Apparently, someone seized upon some data and someone else saw the opportunity that it could be used to control the masses.

Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on how this first got going.

Yep, sums things up rather nicely.

Good job.

A fellow sophisticated soul. Yeah, Tom was talking about it. He didn’t understand but that means the topic was being discussed and written about way back then. It’s not a new thing. Now the hysteria is most certainly new. Or new-ish.

In the main stream present day, what kicked it into overdrive is when Al Gore sold a bunch of crazy liberals on the idea of making money selling "carbon credits". It been self-feeding simce then.

It started with a book called The Population Bomb.

Said the growing population combined with word drought would kill everyone by starvation.

Remember the propaganda movie, Soylent Green?

Once the drought didn’t come it was an ice age coming.

Then acid rain
Hole in the ozone
Global warming
Rising oceans

Now we are at climate change plus pandemic.

this is 100% correct. They did all these grifter predictions on how the world would end to funnel money. Now, with it being called Climate Change, they can literally blame any change with climate change. A guy from my little town has gone hard left with politics and has bought into climate change 110%. If it is cold in April, climate change. if it is 60 in January for a day, climate change. if rain picks up, climate change. if it doesn't rain, climate change.

the grifting left has found their universal term for anything that isn't the day before.
