If someone has made it their publicly known mission to eliminate you from the gene pool, you have to react. And I don’t understand the Israel looks like the bad guy thought process.
The alternatives are to die or have a populace that lives in fear of an unprovoked random attack. Waiting on the enemy to develop a weapon that easily destroy you.
To heck with that. Get the guys doing it. Get the guys funding it.

Just setting aside all the politics for a moment, and just looking at their incredible intelligence ground game. First, the mass attack on Hezbollah using booby trapped pagers...years of planning and infiltrating their supplier. Who would have ever thought of that? Now, somehow luring top Iranian military leaders to a bogus meeting so they could kill them all. On top of that, missiles and drones snuck deep into Iran so they were ready for the operation. Pure genius.
The Israelis are so far ahead of their enemies, it's mind blowing. And as has been written in the last 24 hours, a wake up call for American states that continue to allow purchases of US land by Chinese interests.
I have some ocean front property in east Tennessee to sell you if you don't believe they let it happen.

I think Israel is a pretty potent military force for such a small ME nation but without the US propping them up they likely don't exist today.
