You do realize he has given them access to his safe once before and they looked over the documents that he had. And even told them if they needed access again he would do so provided they had a warrant. Do you actually believe Trump is stupid enough to hide something in a place that has already been searched once?

I don't know. If I were a guy that owned properties all over the world, I think I would leave incriminating evidence at my primary residence in the U.S. where federal agents had already searched before. That just makes good sense.

The FBI went to Mar a Lago in June and saw what documents Trump had. They even suggested a better lock for security purposes. They saw the documents that they think hurts them. This was all about keeping their noses clean.

Question to you. If the FBI shows up at your door, flashes a piece of paper at you, then tells you cut off any cameras you have going and to remove yourself from the premises, do you ask to SEE and VERIFY the warrant?

Yes. I think they did it without his approval or knowledge. In fact, shortly before this press conference I think "they" had a nice long talk with him and he was instructed on exactly what his role is from here on out.
