Many of the Katy-Zeuleans around here drove around with Hillary and Biden stickers next to their "Pray for Venezuela" decals.

I don't think many of them can vote. You have to be a full-fledged citizen to vote. A Green Card or work visa doesn't allow you to vote.
Nah, the democrats have already figured out how to get them to vote anyway... and this time it will backfire.

It's not hard to wrap your mind around.
That doesn't mean that they think Trump did the wrong thing.
It could simply be that they've heard from you same people for six years that the US shouldn't be involving itself in anything for the benefit of anybody but American citizens, and if we do, it means we're being puppets for Joo Globalists who want to start WWIII for profit and y'all always managed to get in how indignant you were at the thought of your children being sent to a shithole country to risk their lives for people who were not Americans. Oh, and also call everyone who supported American hegemony neocons and Globalists.
I don't think Trump did the wrong thing.
But I think y'all's blatant, unbridled, loud and proud hypocrisy about foreign policy that literally turned 180 degrees in one single day, six years worth of bitching and shouting "Muh 'Merca 'Fust" is nothing short of amazing.
I didn't downvote because of that, but that's because I think downvoting is kind of retarded and am usually amazed that anyone takes even half a second to do it. In other words, I didn't downvote, but I don't downvote anything.
So I'm betting that's what the downvoting is about.
Or, it could be the rare rightist populist who is sticking to their "Muh 'Merca 'Fust" guns. If so, I wish they would identify themselves. I'd have way more respect for them than I would the rest of y'all clapping like seals at the very thing you bitched about for six years.
Where's the guy with the black man wearing the pink animal (bunny?) costume avatar?
That guy is remaining consistent. I disagree with him 100%, but by gosh I respect him for not being so easily led away from his convictions.

Our army is strictly a volunteer army. Nobody forces them to go to foreign countries to fight a war. If the soldiers don't want to go, they can always resign from the military.

No they don't. They have work visas. Not one of them have said they're going back anytime soon. I think they're making a life here. Their kids are pretty involved in local schools, made friends.
So... real world example - and some irony - spent hours asking questions of a guy - he and his wife and kids came from Venezuela in 2019 - applied for political asylum and have never had a hearing. Both have drivers license and social security cards
On the one hand he was ecstatic that Maduro was gone.
On the funny or not so funny side - his wife runs a daycare from the house ...

Hispanics fleeing shite hole socialist countries to the US is not America first.

They need to be extremely careful.
My nephew down in Fort Worth is dating a Venezuelan girl that’s been here legally for a few years on a work visa. Her Venezuelan roommate has the same visa and went down to immigration a few months ago to update it. ICE seized her and deported her. We know she’s been sent to Mexico but not sure where exactly.
So she lost everything……car, job, clothes. They’ve had to adopt her two dogs. Now his girlfriend is terrified at the idea of going to immigration. The whole thing is ridiculous…..and no way to treat people working here legally.
But the redneck MAGA’s love it.

Personally don’t give a shite if you believe it or not. Assuming you’re one of those Americans with zero immigrant friends dealing with this. Shocker.

Waltzing in and taking a very ourspoken against the USA, narco-terrorist...also against the USA, communist POS back to the USA to face his charges is a very America first thing.
While setting an example across the world...that's a bonus.
I see it as America first.

No they don't if they are American citizens
Posted on 1/6/26 at 9:26 pm to Seibu
Immigrant friends? I know many legal immigrants, but if folks are illegal aliens that is an entirety different story lib. And 9 posts since 12/29/25. And 'dealing' with what actually?

I'm going to have to doubt the legality of her visa as opposed to ICE just randomly grabbing people who are here legally. As opposed to "my nephew's girlfriend's roommate said...".

So now this is about immigration?
I thought y'all said it was about drugs.
O.k. So when are we going to invade Guatemala and Mexico and kidnap their leaders?

I agree.
I've said similar things for six years. The US arranging world affairs for our benefit is absolutely an actual example of America First.
But every time I would say that I would be called names and downvoted just like I am now.
That's the point. I didn't change my opinion. All y'all did. In the twinkling of an eye.

Something else I have posted for six years while being called names and downvoted for it.
Again, my opinion about American hegemony is not the one that changed.

There are already reports in the US and in Venezuela of newborns being named after Donald Trump in both countries by Venezuelans. The surge has taken place with the names: Trumpcito, Donaldo, and Donala Trumpa for females.
