We really need to politicize more things.

If you like french fries from Burger King over McDonalds fries you should pay a higher income tax rate.

This fool is governed by the UCMJ and well I guess he forgot about that. You don’t just get to do what you want when you are under military justice. Clown

Fight away, Mark. You blanketly encouraged all our nation's military troops to disobey orders and rebel against the CIC, saying/implying that he was giving them illegal orders... with nothing to back the "illegal orders" part up with, accept your TDS and feelings.

frick you, pussy.

What am I missing? Isn't he saying that if your boss says to do something that you know is against the law then don't do it?

That's common sense.

He was completely fine with that... but that was (D)ifferent.

Did he throw around his resume, I think it's written on his business card... He always reminds us of...

His military service, which included significant combat experience. A former attack jet pilot; how he flew 39 combat missions during Operation Desert Storm, conducting sorties over the Persian Gulf region. That his time in combat earned him multiple decorations, including air medals and commendations. That, by the early 1990s, Kelly had also completed training at the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School— how he progressed from combat aviator to test pilot, a role demanding the highest technical skill and aerobatic proficiency.

Did he mention, in 1996, being selected by NASA as part of the astronaut class; a milestone followed his Navy career, that reflected his qualifications as a pilot and engineer. How he flew four space shuttle missions between 2001 and 2011. These missions included the December 2001 STS-108, STS-121 in 2006, STS-124 in 2008, and STS-134 in 2011—whereby Kelly commanded the shuttle on its final flight aboard Endeavour.
How about having logged more than 50 days in space and helped deliver equipment and crew to the International Space Station.

Then, after his wife was shot... he decided on being a crook^H^H, I mean a public servant.

Did he then mention how Arizona didn't have an 'Illegals' problem when Heals-Up visited the border? Did he mention any of the good our President is doing to address the problem, he refused to acknowledge?

PS - In, reality, I thank Senator Kelly for his service to our country -- I just wish joining the Democrats in office didn't result in 'brain rot', as he serves a new master today.

No. Once someone does their service and retires, they're free to say what they want

Mark Kelly retired as a Captain in the U.S. Navy and is currently in a retired reserve status, which means he is still subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) in limited circumstances.

His competence should be judged by the performance of his charges. So far so good.

I imagine he will avoid any less than friendly reporters after this. The first thing any honest reporter should ask is “since this incursion into Venezuelan was unconstitutional; should the participants have refused the orders and if not…should they be court martialed ?”

Is this not in the job description or something?

If that's the case, then he needs to STFU because he's still military connected. My point was that holding a veteran's pension check hostage over their speech, once completely separated from military service, is bullshite.

His retirement check isn't being held hostage.

Just might be smaller than he thought lol

He had 2 decades of military service, with 3 overseas tours, 3 medals of honor and was promoted as high as Major even though the military wasn't even his "primary" career; I'd say he is more qualified.

Hasn’t it been long standing policy that military isnt supposed to be publicly political and critical of their superiors

This entire board cried when someone would get banned on twitter for posting racist shite or lies, but celebrate when a war hero gets his pensioned cut by the government for expressing his beliefs.

It's so fricking backwards it's crazy. No one on here even knows what the first amendment is, much less cares for it.
