there should be a checkbox when we do our taxes- which countries do you support? which social services do you support? which companies do you support? if you want to send money to Israel, how much?
Lol, yeah, get this to happen please - you won’t like how that goes.

I stopped caring.
Watched a documentary today on the Oct. 7th attacks. Reinforced my feelings on why I’m not backing the Islamists. None of those innocent people in Gaza had to die, but Hamas just had to attack. They knew Israel wasn’t going to step back and they were okay with their people becoming martyrs.

I know one thing, if i had the best intel in the world and knew this was coming, and other countries also told me it was coming, i wouldnt put an international festival right on the border then pull a bunch of guards off the border making it very enticing for them to act. I wouldnt do that because i care more about the people. I would double the number of troops on the border instead. But if i didnt care about my own citizens and was power hungry and needed an excuse to commit genocide and steal the land ive been after for 70+ years, i would do exactly what Bibi did.

Intentionally? As in targeting the actual journalists? Agreed... Accidentally? Those are the risks that the journalists take when they sign up for the gig. You can't expect sites/forces/whatever not to be targeted simply because there are journalists embedded with them, can you? That's just a risk one takes...
It was intentional, and at least four of the six were confirmed real deal Hamas. One had been injured last year fighting the IDF. The Israeli government released dossiers on all of them stating all kinds of information on them (when they joined, etc.). The most well known one - Anas al Sharif - joined in 2013 and was injured in a Hamas training camp in 2017.
Hamas plays the media game well. Inserting operatives as freelancers for legacy media is a well worn path for them.
There is plenty for which to criticize Israel. This isn’t it.

So your theory is that as soon as Israel turns it’s back for a second, a bunch of other people will immediately take any opportunity to fire up their motorized hang gliders and kill all the women and children they can find? And they should know better than to entice these fine people “to act”
Sounds like you’ve made a strong case for them to eliminate this inevitable threat

The King David Hotel bombing was a major and highly controversial attack carried out on July 22, 1946, by the Irgun, a Jewish underground paramilitary organization in British Mandate Palestine. It targeted the British administrative headquarters located in the southern wing of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem.
quote:
Attackers: Members of the Irgun, led by Menachem Begin (who later became Prime Minister of Israel).
quote:
Method: Irgun fighters disguised as Arab workers planted explosives in milk churns in the basement.
quote:
Casualties
91 people were killed, including:
28 British
41 Arabs
17 Jews
5 others
quote:
During the British Mandate in Palestine (1920–1948), several Jewish underground groups—most notably the Irgun (Etzel) and Lehi (Stern Gang)—engaged in violent campaigns against British forces. This included not only sabotage and bombings, but also operations specifically targeting British soldiers for kidnapping, intimidation, and execution
quote:
Psychological warfare: The Irgun intended these acts to cause maximum political pressure by making British soldiers feel unsafe and by shocking the public at home.
quote:
Symbolic violence: Hanging and booby-trapping the bodies was meant to humiliate the British military.
