Here is how I rationalize it. Some people like pickles and some don’t. Is it a genetic trait or is it choice. I don’t know, maybe neither. Let’s say it’s not genetic. If you don’t like pickles, can you just choose to start liking pickles. No, probably not.
I don’t think homosexuality is a mental disorder. I think it’s just how some people are wired. Honestly I don’t really care who someone chooses to spend their time with and have physical relationships with. No more than I care if you like pickles on your burger. That’s your business. I do draw the line at it being constantly being a forced narrative and trying to convince children into being gay. And from a moral/spiritual standpoint I disagree with it but again I also don’t go around forcing my moral/religious views on everyone.
Now gender fluidity and the trans movement are another story. Those are definitely mental disorders just the same as anorexia and bilemia. I don’t hate these people but I definitely will not enable them and I wish they could all get the psychological treatment they need.

Even further advantage would be if the gay dudes tend to be younger brothers. You'd have a young male in your group fighting for you and your kids.

They only represent a small percentage of the population. Don’t forget that. If it were genetic, it probably would die out and we’d probably see population numbers like we have.
I don’t know whether it’s caused by nature or nurture, but either way it’s a behavior rather than a biological trait like race or sex.

If gay dudes are perverts, so is every straight guy that's had anal sex with a woman. And all men are horny. Gay or straight. I think gay men can have sex easier than straight men because men are much more willing than women when it comes to sex!

Homosexuality is nothing more than a fetish. All people have some sort of kink, it can be they’re into things like spanking, or feet, arse, or whatever. The only difference in homosexuals is their kink is having sex with those of the same sex. There is absolutely nothing special about them.

They’re not…the act of sex is a choice(aside from something extreme such as rape). One can choose to not even partake in sex or die at a young age before that is an issue.
As of yet I don’t know of anyone that went through life without certain TRUE genetic traits such as race, gender, etc…and don’t give me any of this woke gender shite either.

I asked this exact same question on here a few years ago and was called an idiot and told I didn't understand science.
BTW, I totally agree with you. If a people with a certain genetic trait don't breed throughout all of human history, that genetic trait goes extinct over time. Period.

Maybe it’s more like a one time genetic mutation or anomaly instead of genetic and passed down.
