If you would have done actual research it would have kept you from making such a moronic asinine post. People that make statements based off of propaganda should stay on the sideline silently.

So why did we just now attack them for a bombing in 1983? This wasn’t an issue during Reagan, bush,Clinton, bush jr, Barry, Trump term 1, Biden, or the first year of Trump 2, but now, now all of a sudden, we want retribution for an attack over 40 years ago?

You can “admit” to yourself whatever you want to fit your conspiratorial world view.
I am going to remember the perpetual and sometimes fatal thorn in the side the Islamic Republic has directly presented to the U.S. since 1979.
All those “agreements” and kicking the can down the road through decades and several different presidents didn’t really make the world any safer.
Iran would have to be dealt with someday. It could either finally be done now on our terms or it could’ve been done someday in the future, and by then, maybe more on their terms with even the potential for more loss of life.

some of you people are too fricking stupid to live. Its hard to tell if you're this stupid by choice or if you have some sort of cognitive deficiency.

Someone should leak the content of the meeting where Iran said they had material to make 11 nukes @ 60%

Not the same at all. North Korea only cares about keeping their dictatorship in charge. They are not ideological fanatics, they are pragmatic
Iran is not pragmatic, their leadership is fanatic Muslims who think they get 72 virgins if they martyr
I get it. Perhaps a better example would be Pakistan. No secret they dont like us. They are Islamic and have nukes as well

Does it matter? The deep state apparatus has had the tip of their spear for global terror snapped off and shoved up their collective asses. Other than small splinter cell operations and some lone wolf coward shite like we just saw in Austin, watch global terror incidents plummet in the coming year+, then revisit your piety about Iran being Israel's problem.

Iran would nuke us if they had a chance. We need to make sure we have reduced them to the point that it would take them 100 years to get back. I have come to the conclusion that there will be no regime change. The regime is too entrenched and will not be overthrown without boots on the ground. Air power alone will not get it done. We need to declare victory and end it now.

Marco Rubio explained this the other day, but people online just clipped the Israel part and dishonestly ran with it.
The reason we attacked now is because Iran is producing so many missiles, 100 to every 6 interceptors we produce. Within a year to 18 months, Iran would have such a large stockpile of missiles, and also drones, that they would be virtually untouchable.
The imminent threat isn't them making a nuke like most people seem to think. The threat is that they would soon be powerful enough to not be stopped from making a nuke. Letting Iran build up that many missiles and drones would make any future engagement extremely costly.
This is the reason for the action as laid out by the secretary of state. But again, most people didn't hear this because of all the dishonest people who want to put full blame on Israel.
The info is out there but people ignore it or refuse to do more research than 15 sec clips on X. So, now we have uniformed people making guesses at our reasoning just to promote their own preconceived narrative.

quote:I don’t disagree with this. Most of the discussion (which often devolves into fruitless arguing) is centered around the initial stated reasons for our involvement. Things heated up when ‘regime change’ was added. Whether or not this is Israel’s war is kind of a moot point now. We are in this now and the discussion is ‘for how long and what level of involvement is there long term.’
We have just as many scores to settle with Iran as Israel does.
Israel had definitely wanted this for a long time and we do have a pattern of joining in their ‘bar fights.’ But yes, support it or not, Iran run up their account for a long time and it appears we are now collecting.
I may be less pragmatic if (in the near future) Israel finds a new ‘imminent threat’ that they desire the U.S. to help them deal with (if Iran is neutered). Israel has cozied up to India and though Pakistan is a nuclear power, they have trended in a radical direction (not a majority).

Iran had expanded to working with Venezuela. They were moving to interfering in our hemisphere. The takeout of Maduro and the attacking Iran is a move to make the US safer from terrorist forces. This is part of Trump’s plan to protect the US and its interests. Trump is not swatting flies like most presidents, he actually sees a bigger picture and is moving to implement that picture.

The Ted Cruzes of this world, will never admit it.
Iran is still our enemy, but I’m still not sure how this became an emergency

No.
Next question, Jtard.

According to the administration, they were about to move into a first strike mode with the conventional weapons (missile systems, etc) and target ours & Israel's assets. That would've resulted in exponentially higher US casualties for US service members, diplomatic personnel & their families.
Any loss of American life is a tragedy, but the only thing worse than 6 servicemen/women losing their lives is 600 who paid the same price.

Legit point.
The rationalizing and self-gaslighting here is off the chart.
By this same rationale, we owe the Brits a reciprocal fire bombing of Buckingham Palace for them doing the same to the White House, circa 1812 to even the score.

it is party israel, partly USA. If our CIA is finally under control, then we should take part in cleaning up the mess we created. The CIA/MIC created the iranian islamic state to breed terrorists, create fear and instability. They were highly successful at it.
