The waters aren’t gator infested. It’s their home.

If anything the area is people infested.

Alligators are not so bad as long as they don't have eggs or babies to protect. Then it is a totally different story. I had fun fishing the Marsh and refuges in SW La. Nothing like a gator chasing your spinner bait or trying to get your bass before you could get it landed in the boat.

What worse guard tower manned with guard and sniper rifle to make sure you not going sight seeing. Concertina Wire pretty effective deterrent. The mosquitos alone would keep people from escaping.

Also in keeping with Louisiana Prisons Traditions -- No A/C-- allowed. Then prisoners would not have the energy to escape.

Thermal camera drones, like those used by American Drone Industries, are equipped with thermal imaging technology that can detect the body heat of wild hogs. This technology allows hunters to locate hogs in real-time, even in low light conditions, and track them through dense forests and fields. Surely this technology can be adapted to escaping prisoners in a marsh. Although, escape would be rather slow pace if you ever tried walking in the marsh you understand.

78 million people voted for this idea to happen. My question is why didn’t 150 million Americans voters not want this referendum

Great idea

House them with no AC, they will be begging for a flight home inside of a week, runway right there.

Even if the pic is fake, it looks something like that, probably has inflatable buildings?

My Gov.
Sorry if you don't have BDR as your Gov. He's done just fine here in Florida. Oh if you are from out of state and want to slam him that's fine but just mention who your Gov is. TIA

They clearly don’t understand alligators.

We have swam and waterskied in alligator infested waters.

Thats a fake image made from AI

How did the 1000 gators who just happened to be out and ready to take a photo not give it away to all of you upvoting?

This is the real location that is opening soon

That HAS to be fake. That has to be a conservative woman pretending to be a nutball. There can’t be someone like that…can there?

What kind of nutty shite is that? Why do the gators have more right to it than the humans?

I've always said the man was a very good Governor. I'd take him as Louisiana's CEO any day.

It's unfortunate that he felt the need to prove the Peter Principle in 2024, but all turned out well.

Why send these illegals to prison? Send them back to their own countries.

Maybe she’d prefer what we did in 1980 when we housed thousands of Cuban immigrants in a tent city under the I-95 overpass in Miami. I’m sure all those luxury condo owners within walking distance in Downton Miami, Wynwood and Brickell will approve.

Pretty sure it was hot where they came from, albeit less swampy. They didn’t have AC then, they shouldn’t get AC here

She's right about building one Alligator Alcatraz. There should be lots more than just one.

This is not the site in Florida. I don't know where this is, But it's nothing like the Florida site. Go to Google Earth and search "Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport".

Okay, I didn’t know much about this Alligator Alcatraz so I looked it up. It’s not a prison per se where people do time for committed crimes. It’s a detention center to assign proper legal status to illegals. Some might be able to stay in the US with the proper legal status, most will be sent back to their home countries.
