The penalties for resistance and even dissent are too high to pay now. Even something like litigation can ruin your life due to the cost of fighting the "State" in a courtroom.

Been there for well over a decade. I’m just out here living my best and trying to leave something for my family when I’m gone….which won’t be much longer. Not a bad thing considering I figure I’ll miss the complete downfall of our nation.

Exactly the attitude that the Left thrives on.
That they can corrupt and induce enough abject acceptance into the opposition to the extent that we just give up and leave them to their own devices, because we're just "tired" of it all.
It's been the Left's M.O. here since around 1935, then getting its legs in the '60s to keep pounding away.
To always have another upset in queue ready to go when the present one has lost its effectiveness.
There are no plans among the Left to just stop their conniving.
That scenario will eventually become intolerable, if not to us, certainly our progeny, and will they have the resolve to combat it.
When a society has lost its resolve, it's lost everything.

I love watching all the shite because I like seeing patterns of language use. For example, I've posted long ago that Kamala Harris speaks to an audience like she's addressing 5 y.o. kids. I used the illustration that she's basically saying....very slowly: 'I am not only for goodness. I am also against badness.'

What little trust I had in this place has been absolutely destroyed. There are forces that are intentionally driving us to ruin. Nobody has the spine to stand up for character. And even if someone did, most of us are too cynical to buy in. We are walking hand in hand off a cliff.
