You’re right. I wish we could point to his skin color, or maybe which pronouns he woke up today using.

The bar has just been set so fricking high, talkinng about someone’s applicable experience is really iffy. Totes

He is the nominee for secretary of defense. You either support him or have a specific grievance with him.

Biden literally had several hideous trannys in his admin in the defense department, one of which lost his job because he was stealing fancy lady clothes and accessories by stealing entire checked bags from airport carousels. Enough of this pattycake politics bullshite. If you can’t see that disease needs to be cut from the body, look away until you are told it’s ok

Your mistake is thinking the SecDef needs to be military man. What he needs to be is a leader and willing to implement the vision of the President. He does need the fortitude to stand up to the President when he thinks he is wrong, but ultimately he needs to do the President’s bidding.

Spot on. Check out Caspar Weinberger’s military career. Entered a private, discharged as a captain in WWII

He also has an Ivy League education by the way. Not sure if that’s good or bad. 2 bronze stars aren’t bad either.

Hegseth's awesome intelligence and willingness to work ridiculously long hours will save him IMHO.

I don't think he's going to like the job. It's going to be very demanding, because he will have so many new things to learn in a very short period of time. No normal person would be able to enjoy the life that's headed his way.

He will be completely worn out and exhausted after Trump's term as POTUS. Hegseth will be the hardest working man in Wash DC because he will fail big time if he doesn't put in the hours.

Is that really the retort here?

“But what about the other side!”

We are supposed to be bigger than them. I know Biden appointed trannies and luggage thieves. That’s why I didn’t vote for him.

I’m not going to jump into the gutter with them. If we’re not uphold the standards demanded of the office, I’m going to call it out. I would hope you would, too.

What "standards demanded of the office" does Hegseth NOT meet? And be specific, please. Which specific job requirements does he specifically NOT meet/have that apparently Trump is willing to, I'm sure in your opinion "foolishly" overlook to get Hegseth in as SecDef?

No particular order when compared to Hegseth:

Ron DeSantis
Jack Keane
Mike Waltz
Mike Pompeo
Tom Cotton

You’re such a poser. The whole point of Pete is to take a sledgehammer to the woke, DEI, bizarre policies in the military.

Do you have friends who serve or have served? My best friend, my family members, etc told need how crazy the military is.

Do you want trans people out fighting a war with a leash connected to their hormones and other medications needed while at battle? Not to mention the hormones cause a person to go crazy and that’s how you get killers in service.

Probably best to hang it up.

He literally has zero experience....nothing...... The only thing he has done is run two small veterans pacs/advocacy groups. One took in some money and basically delivered nothing and closed shop. The other he resigned from and I will just leave it at that......he was considered for heading up the VA and was passed over in 2016. Since then he has been on the Fox News presenter grift.

That is the extent of his resume and you want to put this guy in charge of the DOD with 2.8 million people and $850 bn annual budget?

Because it's being run so well by people with experience now. Right?

We need more Fox contributors in the running and also more State Dept officials. Who doesn't trust anyone who worked at State. Just look at the last 30 years.
