The goal of the investigation is to continue the investigation. That way the FBI never has to answer any meaningful questions about the investigation.

They are trapped. When they wanted to blame this on MAGA, they had to sell it as a real threat. As the official story has been unraveling, they keep dripping out video and acting like it's still a real investigation. My guess is certain people are going to try to say it's inconclusive and they can't figure it out. Bongino is not going to tolerate that. Kash is the one I can't read. I don't know if he wants to destroy the deep state or protect the institution now.
Somebody said if it all unravels, they will probably sell it as a training exercise. But, they are so far in now, that the public won't accept that.

The reward is only triggered by arrest and successful prosecution. It will never be paid.
OJ Simpson offered a one million dollar reward for help in finding the "real killers." Did OJ not know who killed his ex-wife and Ron Goldman?

That's EXACTLY what I think. Under the Autopen Adimistration, they had to make it appear like it was a real threat done by MAGA evil doers.
Why the good guys haven't admitted that the woman in the video is Kerkhoff, I don't know. (I speculated that is was because Patel can't credit his nemesis Seraphin, but I hope I'm wrong about that.)
The fact that they haven't explained why it's not Kerkhoff is all you need to know about how seriously they want to "solve" this and how little they care about public opinion.

The gait analysis is not what led Baker et al to her in the first place. As you probably know, the FBI was watching her next door apartment neighbor within a few days of J6.
I doubt we will ever hear the full story of how she was isolated, but the lack of a denial by her or the FBI at this point is enough to convince me that the Blaze was right.
Now...what Kerkhoff was actually doing and at whose orders on 1/5, I have no idea.

Learned from this DailyWire story that POI3 never talked to FBI, but did talk to transit police. Strange that now two media members have talked to POI3 (how did they get his information?), but there are no reports of anyone trying to contact Kerkhoff despite knowing her name and place of employment.

A part of me wonders if that is fake drama between Bongino and Massie. My thinking is Bongino feels he is being snowballed internally and welcomes the pressure from the outside, whether it's Massie or the Blaze. But, I don't know if he would go that far with a statement.

I just read the whole thing. That has a we have done this and that working 24 hours Bongino tinge to it.
On one hand it sounds reasonable to get to the whistleblowers processed- dot all the i's. But it lacks urgency no matter how much red tape they have to go through processing.
Massie is a showboat and it was a coordinated hit with newspapers on speed dial. Especially for the JE stuff. But he was directly accusing Patel of obstruction and or ineptitude behavior.
One would think it would be expediated away from Patel and Bongino saving the world working 24 hours news posts.

Which lends to the theory that they knew who it was from the beginning.
I think Shauni is more than likely the culprit, but the FBI needs more evidence to prosecute. That's why Bongino came out and said they worked it 24/7 over the week.
