the bombs were fakes
they were identical to pipe bombs used for LEO training
the timer they used was a 2 hour cooking timer, the bombs were placed around 8pm on Jan 5

That's a decent defense I've seen floated but she was a mostly, private person before last night.
She would definitely have grounds in civil court and would probably be favored, as a victim of the Blaze.

It's the analysis that would come under attack.
I'm not sure if this is used in US courts. It's from the UK.
It sounds very similar to other debunked forensic stuff like bitemark analysis and blood splatter analysis

How was she isolated in the first place to have her gait analyzed?

My guess is that Baker knew her identity through means he couldn't reveal. The gait analysis is what he COULD reveal.

She used the Metro card of the Air Force guy next door, and his silver Volvo. Metro and toll records.
She was wearing relatively rare Nike shoes.
And text messages show that she was off-duty that night.
Seraphin was staking out the Air Force guy's house next door to hers for days after J6 before being inexplicably reassigned to less important stuff.
