Don't all cabinet members submit their resignation right after elections?

No, Nixon demanded that his entire cabinet resign in 1972 but then kept several afterwards. It is not standard procedure for all members to resign.

If anything, I could see something LIKE this occurring after a President gets re-elected for a second term, if the Cabinet members are under the impression that each stint in their position is meant for a single term. It would certainly not be during every midterm election as well - that means an 8 year president would deal with this 3 times (2 yr, 4 yr, and 6 yr marks).

No thank you

Judge Nap says Rosenstein still over the Russia investigation since he's the highest senate confirmed.
The Judge is wrong. Were the Judge right, Rosenstein would be acting AG right now. But more importantly, Rosenstein has been over the investigation without accountability. Now he has obligatory accountability. He has a direct overseer, and he must answer as to personal, previously unreviewed decisions, e.g., declassing, FISA warrants, etc, etc, etc.

Does everyone understand that Gowdy can only make recommendations to the AG and DOJ?!

Congress people can't actually pursue any legal action against anyone.

Why are people constantly saying this about Gowdy? What else is he supposed to do?
