Like most, I was encouraged about Bongino joining the FBI. Now, I wouldn't trust anything he said without independent verification.
His misrepresentation about what the Epstein jail video would show would have been excusable if he had explained what he and Patel got wrong and WHY they misled us.
As for the Pipe Bomber case, it sounds like he didn't do anything except replace "the team" after they got embarrassed by The Blaze. Maybe Brian Cole, Jr. was involved with the incident, but Bongino knows all the reasons most Conservatives thought the Pipe "Bombs" were an inside job on behalf of the Deep State.
Despite that knowledge, Bongino---OF ALL PEOPLE---never even ADDRESSED the questions that remain:
-why did the Capitol Police team visit only the same two places the person on the video visited when "looking for" the devices?
-how did the Capitol Police know there were only two devices?
-how did the Secret Service and Police know the DNC "bomb" didn't pose a threat?
-why did the FBI lie about the cellphone data being corrupted....and then use cellphone data as a part of their alleged case against Cole?
-the RNC "bomb" was planted between noon and 12:40 p.m. on 1/6/21. Cole's alleged confession says that he planted both devices on the evening of 1/5/21. How do you reconcile this?

How would Dan Bongino know this?
You actually think that the FBI wrote up proper paperwork with proper evidence 5 years ago (after seeing what they have been capable of doing with Jan 6th, Election fraud, Russia Hoax, etc?)
He can only go based off what all was in the file from 5 years ago which was written up by an FBI that hated Trump's guts. Not making excused but some of you people think that he can pull a rabbit out of his a-hole and recreate new witnesses, investigation evidence, etc.
