I fell out with the Republicans over the Iraq War, which I initially supported, but lost faith over the party's willingness to manipulate intelligence, so to answer your other question I'm no fan of the Cheneys, though I do agree with their jumping off the Trump train. I also had a variety of experiences in medical training that led me to prioritize health policy and I agreed more with the Dems on that. Those were the two main issues.
