Elected to school board because I was lazy and only there for the Girl's State attendees.

2005. Made Senate. We fricked off a ton though. Some guy from another group went on a rant about how people like Hitler are great leaders. At one point he ripped his sock off and said, "he's the kind of leader that you'll eat a sock for."
The guy he was stumping for did not win.

Don't remember much of anything from it. I was Mayor of a town.

I was there too in 1986. Elected Mayor of Ascension. Actually, I have a couple of business networks from this experience. Nationalist Party
Best chant: “Give me a “4”, give me a “Q” what’s that spell? 4Q. Yelling at the opposition.

Ouachita Shiites
I hated pretty much every second of it.
Nominating convention night where we had to stay up for like 22 hours sucked so many balls.
And then walking into the dance with Girls State and dudes ripping the most disgusting gas bombs.
Good times

1992 for me. It was a long week. I remember being tired as hell and freezing my arse off in some of those auditoriums.
I think I ran for school board. I wanted something that didn't require much effort.
I had already went that summer to Louisiana Youth Seminar at LSU. Having done that one, i wasn't too excited to spend another week at LSU for Boys state. At least LYS was coed.

1997. Elected Senator from Vernon. Vernon and Vermillion were together.
I remember getting very little sleep, and the junior counselors constantly standing in front of every little possible obstacle on our walks.
The night before the dance one of the junior counselors told us a hysterical (and likely fake) story about a guy getting a girls state shirt that she had previously rubbed all over her lady regions.
The dance was decent.
Back in 97, still didn't have much in the way of computer communication, no one really had cell phones, etc, so no real way to keep in touch with people after. Yet I don't recall meeting anyone that I felt like I absolutely had to stay in touch with.

I went in 2001 and was a JC in 2002.
I had a great time both years.

1968. Pelican Boys State! Elected a State Senator from EBRP. Was fun as I remember. BUt, then again, I had fun at most things I did in those days.
