probably, but I live by one of the Pepsi distributors and they stay Pepsi still outsells it here. I don't believe because man people love the dew here

I wonder if they meant Pepsi products outsells other brands because Mt Dew is owned by PepsiCo.

Grew up with a kid whose dad worked for Pepsi. He got free caps which we used to get Mountain Dew mixed it with George dickel.

They stopped selling Mountain Dew in Baton Rouge in late 1967 until 1970. In the summer visiting Brookhaven Mississippi I would buy a case and bring it home, the last summer I bought two cases.
