I don't always initially agree with Trump's actions. Of course, some of them are for hidden purposes...so, sometimes I come around once I realize what Trump is REALLY doing.
Just like with this post threatening Iran. My intitial reaction was that it was a mistake, because the President shouldn't use our military to protect protestors in other countries...unless it's demanded by a treaty. Now, I realize that the President is just bluffing. Maybe that worked in Nigeria? Maybe it will work in Iran...which would be a noble achievement.
I don't always support Massie. I agree with his America First foreign policy orientation.

Point to the clause in the Constitution that gives the President the power to unilaterally (without Congressional approval) commit acts of war.
I know this a difficult concept for fake conservatives, but the federal government is limited to those powers granted to it explicitly in the Constitution. Limited government, it used to be a conservative position.

That’s his prerogative and decision, I have no clue what goes on at the highest levels of the government when military action is taken. I think it’s odd people on a message board always think they know what’s going on in other countries based off of internet chatter.
