You have to remember most of the Massie and Paul hate comes from people who are politically ignorant and just want red meat to hate. They are the pussy hat wearing progressives that no matter what Trump does, it is either evil, or to his benefit.
Absolutely none of them will question their representative why they voted to fund CISA. But ask them if they personally want more government censorship and they'll unequivocally say frick no.
What's worse is it takes less than 30 seconds to find out why Massie voted no, but they're too lazy to find out.

Everyone should always be cautious when a headline proclaims "Senator Blowhard voted to defund Meals on Wheels for seniors!!!!" when they voted on a bill that has 1000 pages. It's rarely that simple.
