This was an attempted swatting. Because it's the 7th or 9th time it's been done to her, the local cops know the drill. The quote in the story in OP is from Aug 2022 from the first swat attempt. The subsequent swatting attempts did not result in swat teams showing up because the city of Rome (blood red) knew the gag.

No one here has mentioned here that these SWAT events have been accompanied with a lot of very credible death threats.
Threats that are clearly over the line. against laws re:threatening public officials.
There are pages of anti-terrorism law that address this. I have seen these used.
