Typical liberal being arrogant and condescending.
People are smarter than they think. They see how poor and inefficient the government is when the rubber meets the road.

The left believes in more and more government, but it’s obvious the more you get the worse things get.

Guys we've insulted pretty much every parent in Virginia and now we've lost the election. How do we respond?

I KNOW, LET'S INSULT ALL WHITE PEOPLE IN VIRGINIA!

Primarily because it had no publicity and society was automatically rejecting the notion until just recently when all of that changed.

Um, no. Woke-ism has become a major selling point, post-BLM (another term that went through the progressive redefinition ringer). CRT has become an in-demand social philosophy that has seeped into most areas of life (especially education).

Who do you think is responsible for that?

If I had to point a finger at one person/group, it's BLM.

Y'all don't get much experience with real, far left media outlets. MSNBC is very, very tame.

It is clearly an Op-Ed, but you are correct in observing that many people have difficulty distinguishing between Editorial Opinion and actual journalism ... sometimes even the writers themselves.

This isn’t something I’m going to get into an extensive argument over, but just letting you know I do peruse far-left progressive outlets. Rush always said in order to truly understand how the left thinks, he constantly consumed their material and went far outside of the conservative preview when it came to media.

Of course, anyone looks sane compared to Mother Jones and Daily Kos. Those people belong in strait jackets. On the spectrum of broadcast journalism, however, MSNBC cannot in any stretch of the imagination be classified as moderate when their nightly lineup consists of Maddow, Lawrence O’Donnell and Chris Hayes. Let’s also not forget that drunkard on the Ed show who used to yell at the camera.

If MSNBC is moderate, then so are Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham.

I know. I’m saying on the spectrum of cable news/MSM, I’d put them a little further left than that.

Let me rephrase. If MSNBC is moderate-left, then FOX with Hannity/Tucker/Ingraham are moderate-right.

Again, not something I’m gonna spend all day arguing.

I was referring to the Lee Atwater strategy that the GOP has used for decades to either mobilize the base they have or to attempt to convince others to move towards their base so they can win elections. Part of that strategy through the years has included buzzwords that easily catches the attention of the base (i.e. terms related to race like welfare queen, forced bussing, and now CRT). This strategy has translated to people like Reagan, HW Bush, Trump, etc. winning elections. Democrats today have yet to have a strategy that effectively combats that.

What political campaign doesn't involve buzzwords to catch the attention of the base?

Even movies create fake ones for their fake campaigns.

This is trying to make a meta point that doesn't exist. You've been injecting too much propaganda.

Mcauliffe had his buzzword/slogan. It was just shitty.

Imagine a headline, "McAulliffe's victory proves black ignorance is a powerful weapon."

Would that ever be printed by a "mainstream" media source? Disgusting stuff by MSNBC right there.

targeting school lesson plans that address inequality and social justice. Youngkin adopted the conservative strategy of falsely grouping these lesson plans under the label of “critical race theory,” and he promised to ban such teachings “on day one” if elected. Critical race theory is a college-level field of study that’s not taught in Virginia K-12 schools, but it’s become a catchall phrase for intellectually lazy people — many of them white — who want to stigmatize any discussion about American racism.

But Youngkin managed to endear himself to voters — some of them in liberal enclaves — with a platform designed to shield Americans from the reality of the country’s racist history.

Welp. That was an unfortunate proof of CRT for the writer.
