I saw the body cam on the news this morning. The dude ran to the police car, the officer backed away into the street. The suspect then pulled out a butcher knife, raised it and RAN at the officer with obvious intent to kill him. The officer was %1000 justified.

He wasn’t wielding a butcher knife, he was restraining it from stabbing someone. I know because prior to my boating accident, I owned guns and they were constantly trying to shoot people. I had to restrain them at times.
