Pete went from 0% to a grand total of 4% amongst blacks in the last round of polls after Iowa.

That’s a pretty huge percent gain man. All I’m saying is this is down to a three horse race (maybe 4 with Klobuchar but not really). The DNC isn’t letting Bernie win and he’s underperforming last election. That leaves us with Pete and Bloomberg. I think Pete has the edge there.

so one opponent vs like five has nothing to do with that? Bernie will get closer to 2016 numbers as the field shrinks

Keep in mind that it’s an open primary state. A republican can change to Democrat or Undecided and voted in the Dem primary. Why vote for Trump(who will win 99.9999%) in the republican primary, when you can vote for your worst Dem candidate

Trump supporters are not that smart.

“Agriculture is doing good. Our rivers are full of fish. The future lies ahead.” Louisville Courrier Journal’s editorial take distilling all Thomas Dewey’s campaign speeches in 1948 to a couple words. As we know Harry Truman won.

Democrats support open borders, Medicare for everyone including those that enter illegally, and higher taxes to pay for it all. And think they are the smart ones and everyone who disagrees with the above is stupid.

'm a little concerned with the voter turnout the Democrats showed up with tonight in New Hampshire. It is very possible they beat the 2008 Democratic numbers which means they are energized in New Hampshire.

I fully expect them to be energized to try and take out Trump.

But also you have to remember that in a tough primary battle people are more motivated to get out and vote for their candidate as well.

One big key will be how many of those hardcore Bernie Bros bend the knee when the nomination is stolen from him. Or how many "moderates" cave over to socialism after Bernie wins.

There are also about 100,000 more people in NH in 2020 than in 2008. Is that factored in?

Trump faced 5 high-profile, well-funded candidates in 2016 in the NH GOP primary, and won 35% of the vote (and more than 30k more voters than Bern did Tuesday, in a similar sized contest).

How can anyone thing that universal healthcare AND free public universities AND forgiveness of all student loan debt is even remotely possible?

Evidence
Ah, the evidence that just the healthcare for all system of one state (California) would cost as much as, if not more than, the country of Canada...and then you have 49 more states.

I don’t understand why you progressives don’t just push for state paid for healthcare...

Oh, wait, it was because the states who tried it couldn’t afford it.

But yea, let’s multiply it many fold and do the whole country.

All of the countries that you progressives want to follow, in this regard, are anywhere from 1/6th to 1/7th of the size of the United States.

Canada, which is about the size of California, spends ~$240 billion per year on healthcare.

We have ~290 million more people and 49 more states.

Anyone who thinks just the healthcare portion is feasible is economically illiterate, not to mention if we add college and student loan forgiveness.
