From the visual we see that some group of people own cars. Some people stand in a group in a street. There is a small Ferris Wheel with light. There is a caption about our tax dollars but absolutely nothing connecting tax dollars with anything.

i dont know to what level the actual combat is, but to say that there isnt really a war going on there is ridiculous. i personally know someone that went there as a volunteer / mercenary who got smoked

My SIL has lived in Jerusalem off an on for years. Even during the worst intifadas, life in Jerusalem was rarely affected. She would say “Oh, that’s like 30 miles away.”
Point: Showing people living their lives a long way from the combat does not negate that the combat is happening.
