Rather than sky-screaming, could we just ask and answer one question?

What statute gives RFK authority to unilaterally ban any product or additive?

It seems to me that this is the first step in analyzing this situation.

Muh democracy is at stake if we ban artificial dyes!

I'm sure the decision that the FOOD and Drug Administration can't ban a toxic food additive is based on sound legal analysis by a brilliant jurist

Many judges dont do their jobs any more. They only rule by how they feel and money. Its time to reset everything.

I don't think they should be allowed to ban dyes.

However, if they are causing issues, anyone using them should be sued to hell and back to the point of not being able to do business.

If you rely on the government to make things illegal, you're basically removing responsibility from companies as things are "Government Approved". Hold the people accountable and give the proceeds to those who were harmed - sue them.

yep. “Don’t ban it, just sue them” assumes corporations won’t spend billions ensuring you can never quite prove causation and history suggests that they absolutely will. And DDT and lead got ultimately got regulated because doubt worked too well, foiling legal liability.

wow that's great!! Now we just need to keep a list of all the poisons allowed in our food supply thanks to freedom and carefully read the label of every single thing we buy so we don't accidentally get cancer.

Great plan. Would read again

They don’t but our congress, including 99% of republicans, are complicit and traitors. We’re not voting our way out of this

We have judges but they actually follow the law. They don’t realize we’re in a civil war

They do in other countries. I think it was Fruit Loops that was used as example as one of the many products that put extra dyes in the American version.

This was one of the mandates I was really excited about. Many studies out there about the dangers, especially Red40.

Oh well, another win for Democrats.
