Typical responses from this board.

If you aren't an engineer or a plumber, kill yourself.

Wife works at a hospital and was talking about that this morning. The nurses are morons and dont even know what they are mad about.

The new law just says they cant get a loan for over 100K for a nursing degree. No nursing degree should cost that much. They are just pissed over the wording and 4 year threshold Trump set for a "professional degree"

Nurses, particularly RN's, are professionals. There are education and licensing requirements as with any profession.

If you can get a job with an AA, is it really "professional?"

Love all the folks in this thread who are like….oh well.

No on thinks much about nurses until they’re injecting something into you.

I have no issue with them, but theyre not "professionals."

If you can get a job with a two year degree, its vocational.

Nurses are fricking stupid and insufferable.

One day you will find yourself in the ER or hospital, nurses will help you, and then you will reevaluate your comment.

Are we talking about RN’s?

Honest question.

Yes. My ex took this route.

Her place of employment eventually paid for all her education, so she went at night and got her BS, but was hired with an AA.

teachers desperately want professional status as well. I have a degree in secondary Ed, its not "professional."
