How many more days can the market drop 5% before Trump eases his position, but good luck getting that through the heads of the simpletons on this board.

lot of the confusion stems from stuff like the chart saying Switzerland had a 61% tariff on the US when that isnt true.
Bet those countries are calling pretty quickly and asking where that number came from. And whether they agree with it or not the negotiating has begun. As for stockholders many had already decided to bail out with the announcement and the remaining just following those. Enough will hold whether they have a choice or not.

Not just other countries but it emboldens the Democrats as well.

Take a look at the DAX or STOXX600 and get back to me.
But they are probably more willing to let their markets drop in tandem with ours as long as it means they keep their tariff advantage.
If foreign countries cave on their current tariff advantage then of course their markets will go up, but they will have lost a huge tariff advantage in the process.
They will eventually come to the table and meet in the middle.
The question is how much carnage will be left in the wake of this negotiation, and how far will the markets fall until they compromise.

Hey airhead the stock market is not crashing. In fact it would be a good idea to buy some stock pretty soon. Pick the companies that decide to move back to the US. We knew there would be a reset.

Starts off post with crashing bull crap propaganda. Every person with half a brain knew we were in a false bubble. We’ve been in a recession since COVID but then dems threw money at everything to try to keep things afloat. Now that payment is coming due and everyone is panicking. But muh tariffs.

So you want them to keep their tariff "advantage".
But they are probably more willing to let their markets drop in tandem with ours as long as it means they keep their tariff advantage.

They know as well as we do that letting the market fall benefits no one. I am just pissed Trump didn't do 1 to 1 reciprocal tariffs. Carnage? More likely this will be a chance to make some money.

What do you think happens to those countries if our market drops 30, 40 or even 50%?

I really attribute a lot of the crash to how badly the rollout was executed from the incorrect tariff numbers on the chart (97% tariffs for some countries isnt even remotely believable) to the 40+% tariffs.
I don’t foresee investors holding their money for long. You don’t make money on the sidelines.

This part is funny. Trump isn’t God, or King. People have agency.
The left loves saying this, but then act like he’s God and controls everyone.

Why do you think it’s crashing? It’s down what 8%.
Is that your definition of a crash?
Neither y-day nor today did it break any circuit breakers.
Crash to me is 50% or more.

Bro stop. Jesus Christ. Yeah let’s bankrupt our country just despite Trump. I can’t WAIT till a year from now when tariffs will be the running joke at how dumb and emotional liberals truly are.

A whole lot of people who don’t know as much as they think they do whining and crying right now.
No one knows the actual outcome, only time will tell. Either way, you’re all going to be okay…

Holy shite you may be a dumbass. Unless you are day trading, you just did a very dumb thing
What was your cost basis on what you sold?
Posted on 4/4/25 at 6:22 pm to GoCrazyAuburn
When you see half of 1 month's rent vanish in days you must sell EVERYTHING.
I was joking when I told him to sell everything asap - didn't notice he actually did it
