Why am I having the answer to both of you in one post? Nancy is relevant because she is the senator from California who told people to come out to Chinatown after - keyword - Trump restricted flights to and from China. What it is so fricking hard to understand?

No, it’s different than that. The bellweather counties are bellweathers because they reflect the voting patterns of the country as a whole. That’s completely different than your pink socks example. One is sheer coincidence while the other is easily explained.

there are 3,144 counties in the us, including parishes and boroughs. you think a statistical gimmick based on 0.0054 of the nations counties means anything? there are even anomalies in those counties where they missed the mark. with that low bar i imagine you could find bellwether counties for picking the super bowl winner, or or the oscar for best picture or damn near anything
