What exactly did he say that is nonsense?
Where is all this inhumane treatment of illegals going on? Not finding and deporting them... that's not inhumane, as you know. But the actual inhumane treatment of them.
And being Pro-Life and yet still in favor of the death penalty are not mutually exclusive ideas.

Yes, I agree with you. Thanks for the clarification. I don't think what he said is "nonsense". We disagree on that. I would characterize his words as misinformed and somewhat insulting and uncharitable.

Leo needs to pickup a Holy Bible and read it

That's right. I'm not pro-life; I'm anti-abortion. I want murdering bastards and pedophiles to ride the lightning.

He doesn't know the difference between an unborn baby and a murderer?

So is he saying Saint Augustine and Saint Thomas Aquinas are wrong? I’ll stick with the them on this one.

There's more to it than that, but in essence Jesus wasn't abolishing the death penalty but calling out hypocrisy.
Also to mention that it was a lynch mob and not the government.
Rome was the government and held the power of life and death.

Catholics aren't supposed to support the death penalty
How do you justify the current position of the RCC on the death penalty given both the biblical support for it and the historical acceptance and even promotion of it throughout the Church (e.g., Augustine’s just war theory and general position of civil justice outside of religious prosecutions, and Aquinas’ teaching on proportional justice)?
I’m honestly curious to know, given that you adhere completely to the catechism, which denounces the practice.

Maybe his holiness the pope will offer all the immigrants a place to live in his Vatican City where they have plenty money.

There’s an idea. Armored trucks - maybe even drones - with flame throwers. I bet “las palabras” would quickly spread and the need to use the flame throwers would diminish.

I’m not for inhumane treatment of anyone. Treat them with dignity, respect, medical care, etc. and deport them.

Thoughts on the Vatican wall?

The Vatican is in independent country and the walls have been there for centuries.
You want them to tear down those walls? If so, explain why.

These Pope dudes really need to STFU and go find a piece of ice, boulder, seashell, plant, or whatever else that douche wants to perform a meaningless blessing upon.
