The comments/discussions were about this specific incident.
And what was reported wasn't even different. The truck did pass a border crossing. The problem was what people did with this and the conclusions they jumped to, specifically that he crossed illegally via the Southern border.
It didn't make sense in real time, didn't make sense after a quick analysis, and became less sensical as each new piece of information came out, but even after it was effectively confirmed the border had nothing to do with this, people kept up the hopium. Hell, even now people are trying to link the 2.
And, ignoring this specific event, which terrorist incident in the US was due to our open border?

I worked with one of the WTC bombers. Was a clean cut engineer from Rutgers and an American citizen. Exactly what I am wondering. FBI has not clarified this.
His accent is sort of standard African-American. He does not sound mid-Eastern at all. And he is black.
