I doubt it will last too long. We are all feeling a little patriotism on the heels of the Olympics and the stories of our servicemen.
Bomb Iran, see gas prices go to $4, and those numbers will dip quickly.
You say this under the assumption that the approval ratings are accurate.
Trump's actual popularity has ALWAYS been an overperformance and downplayed by polling services and media outlets. Combine that with the well known fact that people (conservatives in particular) are either not participating in polls or just outright lying to mess with the pollsters, and it pains an abstract picture on a canvas of water.
People who still consume mainstream media are lost. People who attach themselves to the social media "influencers" are lost. People who claim that "their party" is better than "the other party" are lost. Both parties are performatively equal, with different messaging but still racking up unprecedented debt with reckless abandon and never anything more than big talk about actually cutting spending.
People are literally all over the place, and the local weather man is 50× more reliable than the absolute best modern pollsters.

Why do we need to bomb Iran? I thought Trump said we destroyed their nuclear program for good last year.

I thought it was great. I also vote that the worst SOTU speeches were by LBJ.

Maybe... But I doubt it is really that low.

Would you like to wager on midterms and 2028?
What are you proposing? Dems flip the House and Republicans hold the Senate is a draw?

What was his Trafalgar number prior to the speech?
Their track record is dubious at best.

Anyone know of any single person who overcame Trump Derangement Syndrome? Is it incurable? Serious questions. I don’t know of anyone whose mind has been changed even with his successes.

Trumps post state of the union approval is in the toilet. You can try and spin it with fake poles or repeating lies over and over again, but the truth is his administration is failing the American people, while his family is increasing their wealth 10 fold.
This a rather poor attempt, perhaps try harder next time.

But CNN just said he had the lowest rating of any president ever.
I can see how kids these days are nuts. They've been lied to by the internet and main stream media all their lives. They don't know who to trust. It must be terrible feeling.

I get the sense that the media’s legitimately 24/7 365 relentless smearing is why his approval is typically down.
I could very likely be falling prey to false consensus since I don’t consume MSM content, but do most people consume MSM? Seems like people seek out content that aligns with their preconceived beliefs and aren’t reallt swayed by “the media.” Maybe algorithms…
