Russia is pounding the shat out of them for four days now.

Check out the OT, they are doing their best Monty Python....its just a flesh wound.

While ukraine whines about the patriot systems not working effectively.....one must wonder if its just a lack of missiles for the systems since they probably sold most of them on the black market.

Russia was reasonable, we keep the territory we have and call it a day. Cargo pants wants all his territory back and for the rest of the world to protect him. He should have thought about that before killing is own citizens in the contested oblasts before this kicked off.

The resemblance between cargo pants and hamas is striking at this point. Both needlessly letting their people die for their own selfishness.

I can only hope when this ends we claw back what ill gotten gain we can, at least to keep some of them from living a life of luxury off of US taxpayers....and that includes our own politicians....Im talking to you Lindsey Graham....and the estate of McCain (is he buried yet I need to take a piss).

People forget perhaps but Putin was once head of Russia's KGB, as bad if not worse than Germany's Gestapo. He' been a cold bloodied killer for decades.

Wow, intelligent response. Get back to the OT and tell us how the vaunted spring offensive is gonna take all of Russia.

Whats the over/under on the oblasts Russia takes now, 6, 8? They were willing to leave it at 4, thats off the table now thanks to genius cargo pants.

Like it or not, Putin has been very direct with his reasons and intentions. As he said nothing has changed or will change until his objectives are met.

There arent any BP stations here, what does that have to do with the thread?

Is this like LA via Omaha and something about Wallace stickers on the back of cars?

Focus man, focus, stick to the thread, you can do it.

If Putin reduces Ukraine to a pile of rubble, I'll sleep just as well as if he didn't.

Trump is upset that he trusted Putin and Putin is making him look bad. They are claiming that Zelensky tried to have Putin taken out. They need to take Z out of the equation.

I've said this many, many times here: Ukraine is a joke, but Russia is the ultimate villain here and always will be. Anyone who had military family fighting against USSR aggression everywhere around the world, or who grew up during the Cold War, even into the 70s & 80s, like I did, knows this.

It is the same record played again and again - they can't be trusted.

Russoa wants peace but can't trust nato and the west.

Its zekenski that does not want peace. Zekenski could have it today of he just capitulate to Russias demands. Zekenski refuses and literally says he will keep fighting until Russia surrenders which is absolutely absurd.

Zekenskily desperately wants this war to continue.

This is Europe's problem. Let them handle it. If neither Putin or Zelenskyy will work with us, we have no reason to maintain involvement.

You always maintain a dialogue. Sometimes, when it gets real bad, both sides secretly need a Trump to pull themselves back from the brink of the abyss.

They can be trusted to act in their national interest. They are winning the war in Ukraine. There is no incentive sufficient for them to stop.

70% of us knew this when Trump entered office. Immediately after the Zelenskyy trip to Washington was the time to shut down the war...or at least to divest all American involvement. For some reason, Trump didn't take advantage of that.

This is the downside of Trump's megalomania. Trump is now going to have to prove that he is stronger than Putin. Look for massive support for Ukraine from the US...and an inevitable Russian victory.

True. Putin can be trusted here. Putin tells everyone EXACTLY what needs to happen before he will stop. Saying "muh putin can't be trusted" when none of his demands have even been met to warrant a stop in Russian advances just because the Trump posted on Truth Social shows how incredibly ignorant many of you are.

Its Zekenski and his puppet masters who can't be trusted.

All we have to do is look back at the 2022 Istanbul peace deal that Zekenski refused to sign. Russia signed the deal and began withdrawing from Ukraine as a sign of good measure but Zekenski refused to sign it.

Instead, Zrkenski said "Russia is retreating!: and launched massive attacks on troops that were withdrawing. Our own media spun it as Ukraine winning the war by driving Russia out.

Russia then responded by decimating ukr forces.

Zelenski cannot be trusted. He wants war

Time will tell if stem cell research has any benefits

But it shouldn't have been restricted to begin with

Time has already told, and yes, stem cell research has produced amazing advances.

Bush did not restrict stem cell research. He carefully crafted a policy to restrict federal funding of research using new stem cells, while allowing research on stem cells which had been already harvested. If that policy had stayed in effect long enough (through several Presidencies) it would have slowed progress. Bush, and his advisors, purposefully crafted this so it would not slow down what they knew was important research, but it would somewhat satisfy their religious supporters who thought it was incentivizing abortion (A silly claim. We had ten times the abortions we needed to get enough stem cells).

Furthermore, if new stem cells were suddenly needed there was no prohibition on using those if privately funded. And there were ample private funds for that tiny cohort of studies.
