When you and the 3 guys you’re with are blind, you refuse to help the guys who were minding their own business because you’re as likely to punch a good guy as bad one.
What’s lost in the Ukraine debate is the simple fact that the people in charge of this country have fricked up everything they’ve touched this century. So even if Ukraine in the Ukraine -v- Russia conflict was the most righteous cause ever, we should be sitting it out because if we don’t, in the end it’ll mean substantially more pain and suffering for Ukrainians and Americans.
