Times have changed. Even they know it.
Might want to check out combat sports, the military demographics etc. before you start getting into violence.

I pointed out what students are learning, together in their gradeschool classes and how it shifts their views. And how that conditioning might account for some differences in how native blacks vs immigrant blacks view what America has to offer for them.

I'm sick of it, too. Not just for my white arse or my white children but also for black kids growing up being misled- it is all so unnecessary.
I'll tell you something, for the most part, in school before my son's class was informed of some slanted arse history- the kids didn't even KNOW they were really that different... they all melded together regardless of skin tone and it was awesome. Kids have to be taught that crap.
When they're in school 13 or so years hearing that crap, I'm sad, but not surprised when they internalize it and their worldviews become 'us vs them'.
