His offering is a non-answer.

just glanced at this thread but if I had to guess, why waste time answering someone who isn’t asking a question in good faith? It’s obvious you aren’t asking a genuine question.

If his definition of the establishment is "the current leadership and powerbrokers within the party," don't you think it's incumbent on him to explain how Trump, by his own definition, isn't the biggest establishment mf'er there is?

I mean, who's the leader of the Republican party? It's Trump, right?

Who are the other power brokers? Many surround Trump, right?

This question shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the issue.

You think the problem with the establishment is that it is establishment.

The problem with the establishment is that it's abused its power and has sold out to money interests to the point where it is no longer working on behalf of its constituents.

That's why Trump isn't part of that group you stupid frick.

2016 was a big frick you to the GOPe. It literally was who Trump sold himself as. It's what people bought.

For 4 years, we saw Trump having to fight his own party to try and get really important things done. We saw his own party be a part of the bogus Russian collusion bullshite. We saw part of his own party be a part of the 2nd impeachment. We saw his own party make the case that Jan 6 was an insurrection.

Pretending Trump is establishment is humorously dumb.

These people will tell you that’s just all because Trump wasn’t an “effective leader.”

My definition was on point.

What's your definition of the GOPe? Does it exist? Is it a problem?

I think that defining GOPe is problematic because it becomes too easy to lump anyone into the category who isn’t performing how I want in a given situation.

So there’s times I see Josh Hawley do something and I think, that’s not representing me or my interests. That’s corporate, monied interests that he’s representing there. That doesn’t mean Josh Hawley is GOPe or establishment. In fact, he’s solidly not GOPe.

Trump is obviously not GOPe. But he advocated for the Cares act and shutdowns and facilitated the incredible overreach of Federal government power into our daily lives during Covid.

There are forces and interests whose interests and desires do not represent even a plurality of Americans and these forces have outsized power. So that they can go to the Governor of a very red state like South Dakota and say “Let’s not get all hasty about this trans stuff.” Or go to the governor of Kansas and get special favors for the abortion industry.

So, there is a global/international/corporate/elite power structure that has far too much effect on our day to day lives. And I’m very certain it’s a horrible problem and one that I would like to have my President aware of and fighting.

I’m not going to stretch every single opponent of mine into a member or puppet of a global cabal on a hunch or a whim.

Exactly, but as you noted it’s not digital. That’s for simpletons.

Bro, it's everyone but Trump, bro. He's been fighting them, bro. Even when we was rubbing elbows with them in the 80s and 90s, bro. It has to be him, bro. He's (D)ifferen(T), bro. Trust him, bro.
