The mom has pictures of a daughter(presumably Audrey) on her page from when they were young. It makes me believe that she was trying to be come a "he", and not the other way around

It was a pretty blanket thoughtless statement but my point is that even when a family member is presenting signs of mental distress its damn difficult to force treatment or confinement.
