Ebryone in DC is the same. Stop pretending they aren't.

All of this partisan nonsense is window dressing.

The politicians are controlled with various forms of blackmail. The deep state has the GOPe obviously on board for Impeachment trials and votes?

Don't watch this hand, and you don't see what the other is doing. They did a random walk around survey on Hannity and a couple said, yes, Trump should be impeached because ahhhh Ukraine.

And I don't buy the ploys of keeping dem candidates off the road running for President. (The ones affected have no chance of winning) Or that somehow the President's own party taking this up with 8 weeks of trials helps Trump or fundraising.

They cannot remove Trump but they want him labeled with impeachment. Why? Turtle and Graham know-all; they wouldn't waste time with this if they didn't expect an outcome. Especially when this impeachment w/o a crime... is dangerous to all future Presidents as many have said.

Good.
Exposure of the Schiff Show without his defense will kill the DNC/MSM Political Complex.

Senator GOP, how do you vote? Exonerated!

I'm extremely active in local Republican politics with the Denton County Republican Party and I just sent Cornyn a hotly worded letter of protest, copying my County leadership, letting him know that ground-level support from North Texas Republicans does not support that position, and that failure for Republicans to bring a motion of dismissal to a vote where Republicans AND Democrats up for re-election (like Cornyn) will be required to cast a vote, would be considered by many an attack on our position of support for the president.

Will see if I hear from his office on this.

Barr needs to hurry up his investigation and out all of the crooked pols both dem and reps. If Trump is removed the swamp will continue to grow and the fall of America is not far behind.

Barr and this IG report is BS and nothing will happen. They will try to impeach him first and then let us down slowly. These people will not give up what they have and that is power. Barr has been up there forever and all of them are working in a coordinated order to outlast this presidency of the people so they can return things to normal. If he is removed from office the only chance this nation will have at survival is a civil war and I hate to say that but it is true.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely, and that is a true statement. The problem is that even the somewhat good guys are corrupt and it is all they know. you can;t serve in washngton for 30 years and not be corrupt, it is the only way to survive that environment. You either get with the program or get gone. This country is in a sad state of affairs.

Never forget that Turtle took out one of his own (Allen West) and the tea party AKA the current House Freedom Caucus, by redistricting him out.
A US Senator from Kentucky took control of redistricting efforts in the Florida state legislature re that state’s US House delegation?

OK

It’s not about unity. They have as much shite on their hands as their Dem counterparts. They can’t let that get out.

That may play a part in the rash of repubs wanting to "spend more time with their families".
It puts their relevance way down the list?

I'd be surprised given what happened yesterday if impeachment actually makes it out of the House. That was a disaster for the Democrats. Any "Purple Democrat" who votes to impeach will feel the wrath of their voters in less than a year.

Agreed. This is the only remedy. The thing is Graham met with Barr last week. The people named in the article are GangOf8. They know what is coming. What is the GOPe's end game? The impeachment is silly at this stage. Why do they want a dog and pony show harming the Presidency?

I don't think the motivation would be what can be given an individual. As a wheel in the machine, they don't want the comfortable status quo to change. It's their gravy train and it chugs along with no effort on their part. Just collect your check.

Turtle ain't stupid and he is not going to gut his party. A trial may be the last thing Democrats want.Cocaine Mitch has proven to be a master in manipulation and strategy. Remember how he ultimately handled Kavannaugh.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I see this potentially as a positive.

A WH dismissal would be seen by Dems/media as obstruction and cause more headache.

A dismissal after a trial would kill it for good, and expose the Dems as the frauds they are

Can we discuss their end game true intentions; beyond turtle being cocaine Mitch? Why would the GOPe want Trump to wear the albatross "I" around his neck by not shutting the faux impeachment down as Graham said.

This is all part of the plan. If impeachment makes it to trial in the Senate, the Dems will be obliterated and an embarrassment to the entire country. It will further empower independents sitting on the sideline to pull the lever for Trump.

Of course not, which is why I'm communicating directly with our county leaders to coordinate with other North Texas county leaders to issue a condemnation of his remarks.

He needs to hear from ground-root Republicans on this.

Good idea. Maybe you have more pull as I did writing Burr (POS NC) letters years ago. He had two fricks to give and was up for re election at the time. He is retiring now so he is beholden to no one in NC.

It looks like Cornyn is not a shoe-in for re election.

Isn't Cornyn GOPe knee deep POS and then up to his chin but for Houston he looks conservative?

Good. Let the trial proceed. Put Joe and Hunter Biden, the whistleblower, and anyone and everyone the House Dems have blocked from testifying - on national television.
