George Floyd happened in Minnesota. Why the frick is there a statue of him in NY? It's bad enough that there are statues of him, period, but NY?

Well I’ll be damned. Defacing statues constitutes a hate crime. Haven’t they been systematically defacing and destroying statues of white guys for a while now? Didn’t the police stand around and watch as several of these hate crimes were committed?
