The midterms will boil down to the perceived state of the economy at that time. At present its pretty clear that perception isnt great for average Americans.

Republicans will get killed at midterms.
Really need someone with a backbone to sit and talk some sense into Trump.

“Illegals” getting the occasional treatment at the ER is not going to enrage the majority, and it won’t bankrupt the system.
On the other hand, the continuing high prices will piss off voters, regardless of
the inflation rate you choose to believe…

The Dems won off cycle elections in deep blue areas. NJ had 500,000 extra voters than the presidency. The only lesson to be learned is that the Dems will blatantly cheat so much more next time. If the elections were in Texas and Florida, there would be a completely different narrative.
virginia has a republican governor, htf is it deep blue? purple maybe, but no way deep blue.
how did you not know this?

What great victory did the Democrats gain? Virginia has a ton of government workers who needed to be laid off but it’s no surprise they were upset. That is logical and no message would change that. New Jersey went from one Democrat to another, again huge surprise

The only thing people care about at the moment is their own financial situation.
MAGAs "culture war" needs to wait until Trump is ready to focus on this country and stop trying to be the worlds arbitrator.

STFU nerd. Maybe if mainstream media outlets would quit lying and covering Trump 99% negatively... and honestly point out to the legions of braindead hysterical TDS nerds like you that he's not doing anything Obama, Clinton and Democrat Presidents before him didn't do... that would help.

Please stop being critical of Mr. Trump. Thank you.

This sounds a lot like the “play not to lose” strategy the GOP perfected in the post-Reagan decades. That didn’t get this republic very far.
While playing not to lose may have saved a handful of individual GOP seats here or there (and was certainly good for the politicians holding them no doubt) how did it ever ultimately advance the GOP agenda, or improve our Republic in a more conservative direction?
Yeah, you’re going to run a risk being more aggressive but the Dems sure never worry the hell about being aggressive. Meanwhile Pubs always wringing their hands and worrying about who they pizzed off. Oh no! We better not push THAT hard!!
Playing not to lose will usually ensure you lose anyway.

Democrat/Republican, they're all crooks. We need term limits and full financial disclosure of every elected official. If you don't want to comply, don't run for public office.

Whatever, a left winger who isn't discontented isn't alive. However they still vote. Twice at least
