Cutting taxes without cutting spending much less increasing net spending will not reduce the deficit but increase it, you moron.

So you are fine cutting taxes and increasing the deficit because who cares, it’s not your debt right?

Short-sighted stupidity of Trumpets always amazes me.

Are you high? Where did I say that? Seriously, direct quote.

Are you saying cutting taxes = increased deficit? Because if that IS what you are saying, you are not high, you're retarded.

isnt that essentially the issue with all of the Elon, Massie, and Rand drama?

Bills that make conservatives rock hard that'll never pass versus bills that are not perfect, but actually have a prayer of passing?

Exactly.

The entire Bureaucracy has been given a blank-check for the last 25 years; they are not about to take ANY hit which simply is why every budget is bloated and never reduced and USAID slush fund will barely be affected.

Sorry, bureaucracy is tied to tax cuts. If you want tax cuts then we have to have bureaucracy too. Otherwise you love increased taxes and trannies and illegals. Trump is infinitely powerful but is unable to decouple bloated bureaucracy with tax cuts, it's all or nothing. Libtard.

That last one is utter horseshite and buys into the fricking lie that tax cuts have to be "paid for"

I'm gonna assume that you're talking about how revenues actually go up when tax cuts happen.

Nothing passes without changes to SALT.

I don't agree with it but that's a fact.

"No SALT" and whatever he considers to be "serious Medicaid reform" would not pass.

Simply saying "no pork" means nothing.

the real tragedy here is that Dems, given congressional majorities, could get literally anything passed. If the shoe were on the other foot, President Kamala would be signing tax payer funded illegal alien child sex changes into law right now.

Yep. Him putting that in there is him saying "there is no bill, that can pass, that I will support."

That plan looks great but the problem with it is the devil is in the details. No pork and no MIC bloat are very ambiguous and that is likely where all the arguments start. I want spending cut too but Massie is an idealist which just doesn’t work in business or politics.

All he did is throw out a bunch of red meat for people to eat up. The last one alone would make it basically impossible to pass. And “no pork” is just something he threw out there to get peoples attention

"serious Medicaid reform"

"No pork"

Where are his details?

The American people, who claim to hate deficits and debt, would never stand for the pain necessary to right this ship.

Any bill that Massie supports would cause an electoral wipeout for Republicans. He knows this. He also knows he couldn't get anything passed.

Democrats and Republicans will spend until it all collapses. The American people will stand for nothing less. It's ridiculous to think the Congress will take some pro active action to prevent the collapse.

The show goes on.

See this is where politicians have it all fricked up. They dont know how to bargain anymore. Its "this way" or no way.

Take the cost associated with SALT, and if its a top priority for you, then cut that cost somewhere else. If you cantt find another avenue to offset the cost, then it cannot be done.

This is why we run dumb arse deficits every year.
