Met him in person in 1988 when I was on a protection detail at the DNC. He stopped me in the hotel out of the blue and asked if I played ball anywhere and it led to about a 5 minute long conversation which was entirely pleasant and positive. I’m completely on the side of politics that the majority of this board is. but as a regular guy who has had very few brushes with the rich and famous, I just thought I’d mention it.

All I remember about Jackson is the aggravating cadence with which he spoke....and the massive shite he stirred in NOLA after Katrina. Even though out of 1000 dead, approximately 500 were white and 500 were black, he turned it into a race issue and created hate and havoc during an unprecedented disaster. I had no respect for the man. He was an opportunist and a race baiter.

Bye

May the Lord have mercy on him as well as all of us.

I thought about voting for him at one time. Then he kept talking.

The corrupt, bought-and-paid-for corporate media will falsely canonize the racist grifter for the next few days.

We'll never find Savannah Guthrie's Mommie now.

The thing I will always remember about Jackson was his stance on Terry Schiavo. That may have been the one and only time I can remember him being on the conservative side of an issue. I never understood why he was. I guess even a broken clock is accurate twice a day.

I remember this clown giving election advice: "stay out do Booshes"

Maybe the only thing he was ever right about.

It has long been considered impolite to speak ill of the deceased. And I will not be impolite.

Trump was very friendly with Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton during theirlate 90’s work in NY C. Hence, the President posted a generous tribute to Jackson…

This is a great reminder to all that life is short. We all need to be seeking to honor the Lord with our lives, living by faith in Jesus Christ alone for our salvation.

Sorry, I would go with Race Baiter. No better than Al Sharpton or Ben Crump. Why folks of color haven't seen through all of that is beyond me. Didn't his son get kicked out of Congress and serve some jail time for some kind of fraud of some sort.

I didn't know he was still alive. I wonder if he is still asking for reparations in the after life.
