No refutation to the content. Surprise.
Cantor already "debunked" this (using your side's favorite word).
Plus:
1) there was no order for refunds (Kavabaw only mentioned the possibility in the dissent)
2) not all of the Trump tariffs were overruled (only those under IEEPA) - approximately 40%
3) as Bessent said repeatedly (and in the attached video), tariffs that would capture an equivalent value will be put in place through other judicially tested statutory authority.
Thus, there will either be no refunds, or will not be full refunds (no more than 40%), and not a single check will be issued until there is proof of who actually paid it (was it eaten, or passed through to the consumer).
But, Meet Kevin said otherwise...

Without reading the ruling but hearing they gave advice on what other statues to use, turns the ruling is a handbook for the POTUS to use in implementing tariffs without congress' approval.
I bet the law clerks of the SC justices burned some midnight oil researching the various tariff statues.

The libtards can have refunds when they refund our trillions of our tax dollars they've shelled out to illegals and NGOs. 65%+ of the DEMONcRATS' voting base is on some kind of government assistance.
Without a doubt this is the best post I’ve seen since my few years of being on this site.

In this thread you admitted that your customers paid the tariff via an additional line item on the invoice.
You also said that you negotiated a 5 % reduction from your supplier.
Wouldn't that mean you are profiting an additional 5%?
I was able to pass on the entire tariff amount to my largest customer as a tariff line item on their invoice. This is a supply store in Texas. Not sure who ate that. They are a US company and sell to customers like XTO, Waterbridge, Cimarex. So the tariff amount was borne by a US company.
The other half of my business i was not able to pass it all on. In some cases, I couldn't pass any of it on if i wanted to keep the business. As I mentioned, my gross margin dropped about 10%.

What was your net income as a percentage of sales pre tariff? Post tariff?
EBITDA/Rev dropped from about 9% to 6%.

That is what it sounds like when adult adults are in charge.

What a huge relief the elimination of these tariffs will be for my company and employees. Higher wages, new hires (3 already since India deal), better cash flow to pay vendors faster, lower prices to US customers. Hope it sticks! And if we somehow get a refund, we will pay about half back to US companies that we passed it on to. Other half we absorbed. Will use that to grow and create jobs.
Guess you missed the part about the tariffs not going away.

Buy American? No “tax.” Pretty simple.

very unclear at this point. i believe i will pay 0% on containers that i clear on Monday versus 25%. I think the 10% will kick in in 7-10 days. again, better than 25%.

There’s what? Unless the tariff amount is 200% this type of manufacturing ain’t coming back to the US. And end users like Exxon and Dow will continue to buy foreign made products for their plants.

Hahaha four pages and it comes out.

Definitely not trying to hide that. I mean the entire point of this is that I’m paying a shite load in tariffs so obviously I’m buying stuff from a foreign company.

They've been ready for this for months.
Trump is a strategic businessman turned politician, not the reverse. This go round he has a team he hired and trusts.

Huh? When the hell did we get to a point where it is better to send $250k to the government than to keep it in my private US business to grow that business? That is exactly what is happening on Monday for me.
Liar. LOL...what a joke.
May $2.50. Sounds like your "US" business should by from US manufacturing...or pay your little fee bitch.
We dont care...tariffs stay. America wins
