Agreed. It was a strange thing to post in here. I was simply replying that I don't think a bakery should be forced to bake a cake for anyone.

I think Apple just doesn't want liability for anything that goes wrong using Parler.
I'll give you some simple examples. Back when Nik Richey was operating a website called "the dirty", people could post whatever they wanted about other people. Usually it was jilted ex-lover types upset they were dumped. There was no fact checking. People picked the state they were from, posted pics and a story, and others had a chance to comment. He was ultimately sued for over a million dollars and lost.
Topix was another forum people ran wild on. Like the dirty, you didn't even need an email address or registration. You picked your topic you wanted to discuss, your state, typed in a screen name and put whatever you wanted on the WWW unmoderated. They eventually shut down after several lawsuits.
But try to consider the good and the bad of that. Someone can be trashed, it's a total lie, yet it's on the net for anyone to see. It lead to suicides. Years ago, the courts had ruled it was freedom of speech and legal and the website owners weren't responsible, but I think something changed.

If people did the right thing then it wouldn't lead to any unrest.

Look out Planned Parenthood app - you might be next!

Wasn't the Arab fricking spring coordinated and promoted through FB and/or twatter? Didn't that lead to loss of life, numerous injuries, and the destruction of property. fricking hypocrites.
For now, to the best of my understanding, twatter/FB can kick off anyone they want under 230. I think the Apple App store could be different and they could be setting themselves up for unfair trade practice and/or antitrust claims.

Kinda funny how using Twitstain to coordinate BLM and ANTIFA riots never bothered them.

If you could keep the plotting of violence to a minimum on it, you pretty much have free reign on it still too.
This whole overthrow the government thing isn’t simple left vs right politics. I can see businesses not wanting to be a vehicle for that chatter.

The true break up the big monopolies ones are brought by the DOJ. Good luck with that now since they basically got Biden "elected."
Further, muh standing.
ETA - and not to mention the fact that Sidney Powell got sued by the state of Michigan for filing a VERIFIED Complaint, and banned from Twitter for filing lawsuits. So good luck finding a lawyer too.

Just referring to private civil antitrust claim based on violation Sherman Act. You still might be right on standing, though.

You are a fricking idiot, satisfied with others controlling speech because you don't think they will come for you.
Or, maybe you just don't give a shot because you are so worthless you will give up freedom for the security of the state. Either way, this doesn't turn out well for you.

I don’t have Parler and I knew all the plans, had it right here on my iPhone via Safari, maybe we should start there.
Edit: wasn’t twitter used to plan the BLM riots that caused billions in damage and multiple deaths?

Someone has to step in and create another platform. That is the only option.

Yes, they absolutely should!
It should all be up and running by 2057 at the earliest, if you start the gofundme campaign quickly!

Parler is another platform, Toddy.
This is utterly, and completely Orwellian.
And nobody has "standing" so there's no way to fix it.

If such activities are done on an iPhone (on any app), isn't it appropriate to sanction Apple for allowing them to take place?
That is exactly what's behind Apple's decision. See, makes sense!!!

It seems reasonable that they would not allow an APP to be used on their devices to plan/coordinate/facilitate illegal activities.
If only the uber honorable APPLE would investigate the many apps and tech avenues used to coordinate the antifa/blm destructive riots, we could really save lives and property. But alas, the tech giants will support the real terrorist origanizations network, while stripping any semblance of the same from the right.
Enjoy the world you have pined for, lefty's.

Twitter and BLM.
Agreed. Public planning of illegal acts by them on Twitter should have them banned as well.
If anyone on Twitter promotes violence related to a BLM event, it is removed from Twitter. So no, their moderation of content protects them.
Parler will be protected if they establish moderation and guidelines for acceptible content.
